Seattle Trip & Poignard Workshop
The annual trip to Seattle and Poignard Workshop at Salle Saint-George is schedule for Tuesday, July 11, 2017.
The trip is open to all G2s and G3s and the planned itinerary is as follows:

Changes to July 13th Classes
Due to scheduling conflicts, G2 & G3 Foil is being moved to 6:15-7:15pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Also, G3 Poignard has been cancelled for that day. Apologies for the late notice and any inconvenience that this may cause.
Food Bank Donations
Our Food Bank Food Drive has been extended to the last day of class for July. If you have any donations, please drop them off at the donation bin on the stage by the clock. I also recently received some commemorative Canada 150 pins. Please feel free to take one as a small token of appreciation when you drop off any donations.
August Club Closure
The club is closed for regular practice during the month of August. The last class before the August Break is Saturday, July 29, 2017. Classes resume on Monday, September 4, 2017.
If you are interested in private lessons during August, please make arrangements with Joe on an individual bases.
Stay tuned. Sometimes an impromptu training session is announced via email.
Combatcon
Combatcon will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada from Friday, August 11 to Sunday, August 13, 2017. If you are interested in taking part, please visit: https://www.combatcon.com/ and please let Joe know.

- 7:00am - Pick-up at OLPH
- 10:00am - Woodland Park Zoo
- 1:00pm - Lunch at Veraci Pizza
- 3:00pm - Poignard WS at SSG
- 5:30pm - Dinner at QFC
- 7:00pm - Foil Class
- 8:45pm - Return to Vancouver
- 11:30pm - Individual Student Drop-offs

- US$ pocket money
- fencing equipment
- change of clothes
- and sun gear for a field trip at the zoo
